Getting Here
Airports
Thessaloniki International Airport "Makedonia" (SKG) is the nearest airport, approximately 80 km away. The drive takes around 1.5 hours through the scenic Halkidiki coastline. Via the Egnatia Highway (E90), the distance from the junction is approximately 40 km.
Kavala International Airport "Alexander the Great" (KVA) is approximately 140 km away. The drive takes around 2.5 hours via the Egnatia Highway (E90) through the town of Kavala.
Your choice of airport will depend on available flights from your place of departure.
Transfer services from both airports and nearby ports to the resort are available upon request.
Parking
Two parking areas are available on the resort grounds. Self-parking and valet service are both offered. Electric vehicle chargers are available — please contact the Concierge for scheduling.

Your Room
Air Conditioning
Each room has an individually controlled thermostat. The air conditioning switches off automatically when the balcony door or window is opened.
In-Room Safe
A personal safe is located inside your wardrobe. We recommend storing jewellery, money, passports, and other valuables inside it at all times. Please leave the safe door open upon departure.
Mount Athos Resort cannot be held liable for valuables left unsecured in the room.
Key Card
If you misplace your key card, Reception will provide a replacement. Please return your key card at Reception upon departure.
Mini Bar
Your mini bar is replenished daily with a selection of beverages and snacks. All items are sourced from trusted suppliers. For health and safety reasons, replacement of items with outside products is not permitted.
Tea & Coffee
Complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities are available in your room.
Television
A wide selection of local and international channels is available.
Pillow Menu
A selection of pillow types is available. Contact Reception with your preference.
Baby Cot

Beach towels are provided for pool and beach use. Please note that bathrobes are not intended for use at the beach or poolside.

Voltage is 220V throughout the resort. Adaptors are available from the Concierge upon request.
Payments
Accepted credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, JCB.
Cheques are not accepted. Credit card details are required at check-in.
ATM
There is no ATM on the premises. The nearest ATM and bank branch are in Ierissos town centre, approximately 1 km away.
Health & Medical
Doctor
Mount Athos Resort partners with a private medical practice in Ierissos. Depending on the situation, a doctor can visit the resort. Fees are settled directly with the physician.
The nearest hospital is in Poligiros, approximately 45 km away. Haemodialysis facilities are available at the hospital.

Pharmacy
Contact the Concierge for directions to the nearest pharmacy on duty.
Policies
Smoking
In accordance with EU regulations, smoking is not permitted in any enclosed areas of the resort. All rooms and suites are non-smoking. Ashtrays are provided on each balcony for guests who wish to smoke.
Smoking inside any room will result in a cleaning charge of €100, added to your bill at check-out.
Pets
Pets are not permitted at Mount Athos Resort.
Lost & Found
Please report any loss of property to Reception immediately.
Items left in rooms, meeting areas, or public spaces are logged, secured, and held for 30 to 90 days. Cash, credit cards, and jewellery are stored separately. Recovered items can be shipped at the guest's expense (C.O.D. or charged to a credit card).
Mount Athos Resort cannot be held liable for any loss or theft.
Safety Information
Security
The resort is guarded around the clock by our security team. To reach security, contact Reception.
Personal safety reminders:
Store valuables in your in-room safe — do not leave them unattended.
Lock your door, windows, and connecting doors when inside your room.
Never share credit card or identity information over the phone. Resort staff will never request this by phone.
Stay alert in the parking area and do not leave valuables in your vehicle.
Report any suspicious activity to management immediately.
Water Safety
If travelling with small children, remain with them at all times near any water.
Fire Safety
Fire alarms, extinguishers, and emergency exits are located on every floor. Assembly points are outside the main building. Please review the safety instructions posted in your room.
In case of fire, call Reception by dialling 9.
Complaints
Mount Athos Resort maintains a formal guest complaints management system. Please address any concerns to Reception or management.
